Klein Group has stepped in as the majority owner of MEWB, a technology studio in Oslo that builds products and solutions in sectors such as industry, Web3 and gaming. Both CEO Martin Bentzen of Klein Group and COO Johan Grenlund of MEWB tell Kaupr that the idea of joint ownership has grown naturally, after getting to know each other through concrete projects.
- We view MEWB as a very exciting investment. Above all, it is the people, solid growth and a shared vision for the future that brought us into close dialogue with the MEWB. Through a concrete project we have collaborated on, it was natural that we came closer together, which in turn ended in a constructive dialogue about possible ownership,” says Martin Bentzen, CEO of Klein Group.

Bringing Klein Group in as owners of MEWB feels like a natural next step. MEWB is a technology studio with seven employees in Oslo. According to Grenlund, the employees have a shared passion for programming and product development. MEWB builds products and solutions in sectors such as industry, Fintech, Web3 and gaming and proactively keeps its customers updated on technological advances and new opportunities within its business areas. “Our experiences give us a unique advantage within the Web3 area, where we see more opportunities for innovation and development of new digital products,” says Grenlund.
Bentzen emphasizes that MEWB is a hub for passionate software developers with a clear vision — to harness and develop their full potential as developers.
