Swedish crypto company Goobit Group, which is the parent company of crypto exchange BTCX, reports strong revenue growth and turns to operating profit. Turnover increased to SEK 186.4 million, against 28.3 million in the same period of the previous year.
The company operates with different accounting periods than comparable companies in the Nordic countries. Thus, the quarterly report published on Friday includes the figures for the period November 2024 - empty January 2025.
Goobit also bets 100% on Bitcoin, in the same way as the crypto exchange Bare Bitcoin in Norway.
During the quarter, Goobit has entered into a partnership with the Stockholm Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCI Stockholm) to provide entrepreneurs with access to the Bitcoin economy through Goobit's trading platform BTCX.
The company is also launching Sweden's first Bitcoin podcast for women — Women & Bitcoin — available on Spotify. The goal is to increase women's participation in the digital economy and inspire more people to explore Bitcoin.
CEO Christian Ander comments: “As we enter 2025, we remain focused on accelerating the adoption of bitcoin, expanding our services across borders and ensuring compliance with upcoming EU regulations.”
According to the interim report, Goobit continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in Bitcoin services in Sweden, focusing on transparency, customer service and regulatory compliance.
