'The idea will be to gain broad exposure to the topic, including through value chains, exchanges and companies that own a lot of crypto. But we have to look at that. We listen to what customers want, and then we look at the possibility of setting something up, as we have done with nuclear power,' Hellandsvik says in the interview with E24.
DNB recently started a new nuclear power fund and is seeing demand among clients for strikers funds.
According to the interview, Norway's largest sees a clear trend shift and points to crypto-friendly Donald Trump. Hellandsvik points out in the interview that Trump is more crypto-friendly than his predecessor. And that he has chosen crypto advocate Paul Atkins as the new head of the financial regulator SEC.
'Many people see it as an alternative to gold,' Hellandsvik says of bitcoin.
