The Nordic startup and media company Kaupr is minting 250 NFTs to their hybrid attendees at the Unleash Conference in Oslo this week.
The recordings from the Unleash conference, where 250 people had access to the hybrid event, are now also available On demand. The NFTs, on the other hand, is exclusively available to people that had signed up for the event, before the event took place, or that had a specific role at the event.
Unleash by Kaupr have minted four different NFTs categories, for in-person attendees, virtual attendees, speakers and team members. The extra special ones are the 1:1 NFTs, where each of the 18 speakers are receiving non-fungible tokens that are minted as single editions. - We have called these NFTs “Proof of Knowledge”, because our attendees participated in a hybrid event and listened to 18 thought leaders sharing their insight about the Future of Internet based on emerging technologies like Web3, AR/VR, AI and IoT. We also see the 250 engaged individuals as the core of a growing Web3 community. With the Unleash NFTs we have the option to develop and share future offerings and services to this group of individuals, without today having decided upon what that might be, says Myrstad.
With his background in communication, b2b branding and digital business development, Myrstad also sees NFTs as a key building block in web3 marketing, where it is possible to integrate web2 and web3 user experiences. - Today the NFT use cases are many more than art and profile images, for instance building loyalty and long-term values for brands. It can also be used to build membership solutions that inspire more engagement than the subscription services of the web2 world,
The designer who has created the Unleash NFTs is Ida Hvitsand, who is a brand consultant and graphic designer both for web2 and web3 projects. Hvitsand was also one of the 10 active team members making the Unleash by Kaupr conference possible.
