On Tuesday 26 September, Kaupr will for the first time host a separate conference, Unleash, which will take place during Oslo Innovation Week.
BISO Web3 Society is one of over 70 student committees in BISO Oslo, which is the BI Student Organisation at BI Oslo Business School. The Unleash event is part of Oslo Innovation Week, taking place 25—29 September 2023.
This is possibly the first time that a student committee has such a central role during such an important event as Oslo Innovation Week. - We are very proud and happy that Morten Myrstad in Kaupr has invited us to participate, and we are looking forward to the event itself,” says Jonas Morshedy and Sebastian Stehlik, respectively incoming and outgoing chairmen of BISO Web3 Society.
We at Kaupr have tThe most popular student group, which is one of the fastest growing student committees at BI in Oslo, and now has over 150 members. In the spring of 2023, the group has organized five events where the student group has brought in web3 experts from outside as guest speakers.
Morshedy, supported by Stehlik, justifies the student committee's role as co-organizer at Unleash as follows: - We share the same basic view as Kaupr, that technologies such as web3, artificial intelligence and AR/VR are going to shape the internet of the future. We also consider it crucial to build knowledge and share information about these technologies so that we as students and managers and workers in business are as well prepared for these changes as possible.
The student group has already been included in Kaupr's preparations for Oslo Innovation Week, and will play an active role ahead of and during the event itself, both as a co-organizer and as part of the program. If you are interested in knowing more about the Unleash event, and possibly participating, you can register your interest here, and receive regular updates going forward.
The initiator behind the student group at BI has been Sebastian Stehlik, who has now begun his professional career. Jonas Morshedy has several years left at BI, where he is studying entrepreneurship, but has already built solid knowledge and experience both as an entrepreneur in his own startup and as a network builder and general manager in Start Oslo.
- The first goal of the new board will be to increase membership and engage the members, both among students starting now this fall and among the existing student body. In the future, we will also focus more on cooperation with the business sector,” says Morshedy.
Other members of the new board, in addition to Jonas Morshedy are: Isabella Della Spina, Hubert Grzyb, Võ Nguyên Hanh, Oskar Kjonerud-Waage and Sofía Blanco.
