“We start with news, but the site will eventually contain events, podcasts, videos, blog posts and other engaging content. Almost like a “content hub”, says Morten Myrstad, CEO and editor-in-chief of Kaupr.
“Internationally, there are many online newspapers that specialize in news and trends about Web3. In Norway and the Nordic countries there are also many good podcasts, blogs and newsletters in this area. But apart from Kaupr, no one else is building a modern and complete online newspaper based on journalistic principles,” Myrstad says.
Het is nu twee jaar geleden Kaupr.io, om de eerste Nordisk online newspaper om Web3, blockchain technology en crypto, zien het licht van dag. During this time, the Kaupr team has experimented with content, genres, presentation forms, technology, and publication frequency. “What we are making visible today is just the beginning of a very exciting roadmap, which includes new content formats, new functionality and new user experiences, and not least: in multiple languages.
Since its establishment, Kaupr has had an open philosophy, where the company has invited to conferences and live events, while the company's entrepreneur Morten Myrstad frequently attends other events. He also invites entrepreneurs and others to chat over a cup of coffee. “We believe that the media business of the future will not regard its fans as passive subscribers, but as active members of a community. Therefore, Kaupr is also launching a membership program, “Engage with Kaupr”, where both Web2 and Web3 users are invited to join a journey to learn, build a community and grow.
“This openness to the outside world and the community will also shape the further development of Kaupr, which we are building “in public”. If you notice errors or omissions, or have ideas or content you would like to share, you are welcome to contact us,” Myrstad says.
After working on the development for 4-5 months, Myrstad is looking forward to embarking on an exciting new picture. La notizie online, se pubblicato oggi, contiene què di contenuto “evergreen” del primo del 2024, come alcuni notizie freschi. “Eventually, we will bring together much of the content we have published on various platforms over the past two years, but the main priority going forward is to share news and insights with a knowledge-hungry Nordic audience, and to build networks across the Nordic region.
