After a couple of years as a kind of Minimum Viable Product (MVP), we at Kaupr are now working to scale the business, in all channels, helped by a community of 5,000 followers and greatly increasing traffic on our website.

Kaupr grows in all channels

Content Hub

The online newspaper kaupr.io is in many ways “our home”. The website is our primary news channel, but we also refer to it as a “content hub” because we plan to introduce more content genres in due course. Nätavisen was relaunched on a new content management platform last autumn, and thus we have a much more modern and robust toolkit to work with.

Norwegian, English and Nordic

Just before Christmas, we also launched our news articles in English in addition to Norwegian. A few days ago we launched our own sections on the front page and our own landing pages for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Currently, the different country sections vary in depth and breadth, but feel free to help us by tipping us off on news relevant to you and your network!

Increased frequency and pace

We are also working to increase the temperature and pace of the news stream, by publishing both more and daily current affairs. This, together with the measures described above, gives results. In the last week, our website has had 1,100 visitors and the number of page views has passed 2,600 a week. The same growth is seen on YouTube, where the number of subscribers has now passed 400. This increased traffic on our content platforms will of course also be a plus in relation to the topics, businesses and people we are talking about. Simply a win-win between Kaupr, partners and our community.

Community of 5,000 followers

Our community is also growing in depth and breadth, and now totals around 5,000 followers across all of our social media. LinkedIn is the largest community, with about 2,000 followers, while we have about 900 followers on X/Twitter, The community is also very active. In a short time, we got 840 followers on Bluesky, while our Facebook pages are followed by 230 people.
